Exo Warehouse General Warranty Overview
  1. General
    1. This warranty page is for informative purposes only. It is intended to provide consumers with a general overview of the product warranties.
    2. The information displayed here is in no way intended to change, replace, exclude or limit the warranties provided by the product manufacturers.
    3. The warranties are those provided by the manufacturer. Exo Warehouse gives no undertaking as to their action should the need to exercise a warranty right arise
    4. All warranty periods extend from date of purchase
  2. Returns and Proof of Purchase
    1. All Warranty Claims are made VOID when products are damaged due to Acts of Nature or when subject to abuse, improper usage and/or lack of care. Warranties will not apply when the product has been cleaned incorrectly (i.e. in a swimming pool, or by using improper materials such as abrasives or other inappropriate chemicals).
    2. Warranty Claims will need PROOF OF PURCHASE RECEIPTS available before they can be considered. It is the responsibility of the customer to keep the proof of purchase receipt if they intend on claiming warranty, should the need arise.
    3. It will be the responsibility of the consumer purchasing the products, to organise and bear the cost of the transportation of Warranty Replacement items and/or unwanted goods to/from either Exo Warehouse or the respective manufacturer. This includes items sent back to Exo Warehouse or the manufacturer for the inspection of the item for the faults or damage being complained about.
  3. Chair Frames, Tables and Cabinets
    1. Most products carry a 3- or 5-Year Residential Use Warranty on STRUCTURAL DAMAGE to the aluminium, wooden or steel framework which may have occurred during the manufacturing stage and then failed during normal residential usage.
    2. Improper usage, Acts of Nature and accidentally dropping items onto the tables will void the Warranty.
    3. Customers are advised to consult their home and contents insurance policy to make sure that outdoor glass-top tables can be covered as part of the home’s contents.
    4. Rusting is not, under any circumstances, considered to be a manufacturing or structural fault.
  4. Stone Products
    1. A 12-Month Warranty applies to most Marble, Granite and Travertine tops for both Residential and Commercial Applications.
    2. Care and Maintenance procedures are essential factors for the durability and for keeping the “original look” of Stone tables.
    3. Warranties on these items cannot be made possible, unless the end-user has properly followed the maintenance procedures.
  5. Slings, Fabrics, Wicker and Cushions
    1. Most furniture products that have fabric, cushions or slings as part of their design carry a 0- or 3-Year Residential Use Warranty on that particular part of the product.
    2. Improper usage, Acts of Nature and accidentally spills and cuts to the cushion, fabric or sling will void the Warranty.
  6. Umbrellas
    1. Most umbrellas carry a 12 month warranty against manufacturing faults with the option of the manufacturer to repair or replace.
    2. The warranty does not include protection against damage caused by inadequate installation, improper use, wind or accident. Further, the warranty is void in wet and windy conditions and where the products are used in commercial environments.
